Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to wrap a vehicle?

The process may vary depending on how intricate your graphics are. If you already have a logo and concept the process on average takes 3 to 5 business days.

Can the wrap be removed later?

Absolutely! Our vehicle wrap products have been engineered to be removed.

How long will a wrap last on my vehicle?

A wrap printed and installed by Ink Print & Design can last anywhere between 3 to 5 years depending on care and location of vehicle.

Can I pressure wash my vehicle after the vinyl is installed?

Ink Print & Design does not recommend pressure washing the vehicle after installation of the vinyl. Some pressure washer can potentially lift up the vinyl because of improper use of the water pressure. The wrap is an investment to your marketing and advertising strategy and thus it should be protected.

Do I wash my vehicle before installation?

Yes. All vehicles have to be free of road tar, dirt and other agents that may inhibit the installation process.

How long do you need my vehicle of installation?

Installation normally takes between one and two days depending on complexity of vehical.

Will it damage my paint?

A vehicle wrap will not harm OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), or a factory paint job. The material used actually protects your paint job from minor scratches. If you have factory paint in good condition at the time of application, there will be no damage to the paint. If your vehicle has paint that is oxidized, cracked, peeling or has been repainted due to age or accident, the paint may be damaged upon removal.

How much does it cost?

Every project has its own set of variables. Pricing is directly linked with coverage and types of vinyl used.

What can be wrapped?

Cars, trucks, SUVs, Boats, Bikes, Trailers, RVs, Golf Carts, Floors, Walls and much much more! Just ask us.

How long should I expect the wrap to last?

You can expect to get 3 to 5 years and longer out of a wrap provided proper care is given to the graphics.

What is the proper care for my wrap?

Hand washing with soft non-abrasive sponge is the best method. Avoid high pressure washes because that spray can actually tear the vinyl or cause seams to lift.

What’s the difference between a ½, ¾ and full wrap?

½ Wrap: Includes the entire rear of the vehicle and ½” way up the vehicle, and includes a hood logo.

3/4 Wrap: Includes the entire rear of the vehicle and 3/4 way up the vehicle, and includes a hood logo.
